Great Cypress 2004 Annual Meeting
President King asked if there was anyone who wished to run the annual meeting. No one volunteered. President King opened the annual meeting at 7:00PM, 13 December 2004.

Roll Call of Association Membership. Total of 44 present. 50 50 needed to be present. A quorum was not present.

Due to the fact that there was not a quorum present, an informal open discussion of issues was made available to attending membership.
Topics of discussion:
After much discussion it was recommended by a survey of hands of attending membership a hedge or privacy fencing along Houston Ave be brought up for vote at next annual meeting
Hurricane shutters and storm proofing of clubhouse was not recommended due to a lack of interest and cost of project
It was discussed Tract D must come up for vote at next annual meeting due to our name being on the deed and Association has never voted to accept it.
Proposed document changes also will be brought up for vote at the annual meeting
The Social Club has thoughts of creating a fund raiser to acquire new chairs
Palm trees needing to be trimmed on common ground

Mr. Reid stated we must have copper wiring for AC. It is currently aluminum which is against code.
Lining of parking lot Brent Stickel is working on this issue
Sidewalk repair is completed for what contracted for however, we still more have to be repaired
Sprinkler system was offered to be repaired by contractor
Floor stripping and waxing completed by volunteers headed by Art McKellar for approx $135.00
Metal door repair will be done at less than originally thought
