Reading of the Financial Report – December’s financial report was read and approved.

Committee Reports

Crime Watch:  The president told of an incident at the pool with 2 guys and a girl swimming in the pool late at night.  The crime watch was on the job and we were left with 2 chairs and a table in the pool and the lights unscrewed.  Thanks to those who were involved.

Welcoming:  No new residents were welcomed this month although June and Armon Stevens were introduced and welcomed by the Board.

Code Enforcement:  Still no committee

Architectural:  All going well

Maintenance: The security light next to the chimney is awaiting the electrician after the holidays.

RV Area:   John Castiglia and Jack Fair had worked on the RV area last month to make room for more vehicles.  There remains approximately 10 stumps after the trees were cut down.  Chad made a motion, 2nd by Mary to rent a stump grinder to remove the stumps and make room for more vehicles.  This was approved by the board.

Pool Area:  The President received a final bid from the contractor for heating the pool.  The cost is $7400 which includes 2 heat pumps, covers for both the pool and spa and installation.  The Board approved the purchase unanimously.

Social Club:  Patty reminded us of the upcoming Fashion show January 10 and the Super Bowl party on Sunday February 4th.  Sign up sheet is available in the Club House.  The January social club meeting will be Monday January 15.

Election Committee:  The Board approved the addition of a referendum to pave the Bocce Ball court on the upcoming ballot.  A bid of $3948 was received to pave the court and it would still have to be covered with astro-turf. The election committee requested final paperwork from the Secretary now that there have been changes in the slate.

OLD BUSINESS

Sidewalk repairs:   A quote was provided from Aaron Concrete to fix the remaining areas of sidewalk that are dangerous.  A bid of $5890 was approved by the board to complete the project.  New concrete to connect the old sidewalk with the gate that had been moved last month was also approved in the amount of $548.00.  A vote was taken of the Board and all agreed to the additional repairs. (contracts are attached)

Olivaud Flooding - Tabled until the next meeting due to lack of response from the contractors

NEW BUSINESS

Complaints about the ATV's behind Olivaud was discussed and it appears the only way we have to stop the noise is to continue to call the police whenever there is late night noise.

Contracts were discussed for Lawn Maintenance, pool maintenance and office cleaning - it was agreed by the Board to raise the lawn maintenance monthly fee from $330 to $347. Pool Maintenance contract approved at $409.00 per month from $399 and office cleaning approved at $80 per week with no change from last year.
